Location
Fardalehill is situated immediately adjacent to the western edge of Kilmarnock.

Development proposals
The Fardalehill site extends to approximately 25 hectares and is being promoted as a residentially led urban extension incorporating housing, primary school, commercial uses and community facilities.

Project status
The Fardalehill site lies within one of the preferred expansion locations identified by the Finalised Draft Ayrshire Structure Plan 2006. Lands Improvement are promoting the site through the East Ayrshire Local Plan Alteration process. The site has a draft allocation in the Consultative Draft plan for 450 units
