High Leigh Farm is located on the western edge of Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire, between the town and the A10. Central London is 20 miles to the south and the M25 six miles away.
The site is currently farmland and extends to approximately 180 acres. Part of the site has been previously worked for extraction of sand and gravel and has subsequently been land-filled and restored. Approximately 45 acres, together with 30 acres of adjoining land, is considered suitable for a residentially led mixed use development for over 500 homes.
In 2015 outline planning consent was acquired for up to 523 new homes and mixed use commercial and employment uses.
Land is now available for development.
