Project overview

Lands Improvement completed the acquisition of the Copped Hall Estate, in Essex in 2017. The estate is situated within walking distance of Epping underground station at the eastern end of the central line, providing direct access into central London. The estate currently includes a mix of agricultural and residential uses. Strutt and Parker assists with the day-to-day management of the estate, advising on the short and long-term priorities for its management. Lands Improvement collaborates with Strutt and Parker to manage the long-term asset management of the estate.

Project progress

Lands Improvement continues to work closely and collaboratively with tenants, community groups and other stakeholders to ensure the estate realises its full potential as a sustainable and prosperous place to live and work.

In the longer term, the site will continue to be promoted through the emerging and future local plans for residential development, taking a community-first and placemaking/legacy approach to any development on the site.

Location

The site is located in Epping Forest District Council to the north west of Epping Town.
